Standards New Zealand has prepared a number of questions and answers (Qs and As) about the recently published NZS 3604:2011 Timber-framed buildings. We recently added some new Qs and As, which are available here.
The Qs and As provide background information on the latest edition of NZS 3604 and the limited technical review process that formed the basis of the update.

Fale's for Samoa - Foxton
There was a good turn out (20 builders) to the working bee at ITM Foxton to Prefab 3 fale's for the Samoan relief, it was quick and easy and all done by 2pm. It's a shame we had no support from our Palmy side.
